So uh, it's January 1st and I guess I should update both followers and friends about some things that have been going on.
First, as of December 11th 2015, I graduated with a B.A.S. in Supervision and Management. I'm really happy to have that under my belt. It took me longer than I had hoped, but hey! I did it!
Second, I have a full time job at a large healthcare organization here in town. I've been working there since July of 2014, and I decided to go to school full time as well, which would explain my lack of updates, artwork and many other personal projects I would have liked to have done. As of now, I'm still employed since, ya know, living costs money! December in a healthcare setting is miserable, let me tell you. All of a sudden people decide they want to see their doctors and they've finally met their deductibles. They swarm in wanting their medical supplies and it's really challenging to keep up with such few staff on hand!
I'm really not a huge fan of the idea of waiting until the first of the year to make resolutions. If you want to change something, you should start right away (if at all possible)!
And yet here I am!
This year, I want to focus on getting better at art. I want to start planning and completing projects and sharing them with people. I want to take control of both my mental and physical health as well. In addition to that I want to look into going to graduate school for...something. I don't want to rush into a degree I'll dread working on so I'll hold off on making any huge decisions. Business school was bad enough and I've learned my lesson. In my absence, I've also lost contact with a lot of people. I want to reconnect with them and rebuild those relationships. I don't expect anything to be easy but I want to make 2016 as productive of a year as possible.
In any case, I hope to be more active here and elsewhere. I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and I'll see ya around!
